Internet Explorer 5.x, 6.x, 7.x for Windows
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu
- In Internet Options, select the Security tab
- With Internet zone selected at the top, click the Custom level...
button at bottom. Security Settings - Internet Zone will open
- Under Scripting enable Active Scripting, Allow paste options via
script (IE5,6) or Allow Programmatic clipboard access (IE7), and Scripting
of Java applets
- Click OK twice to close out
- Click Refresh
Internet Explorer 5.x for Macintosh
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select Preferences from the Explorer menu
- Click the arrow next to Web Browser
- Click Web Content
- Under Active Content check Enable Scripting
- Click OK
- Click Refresh
Mozilla Firefox 1.5, 2.0 for Windows
- Open Mozilla Firefox
- Select Options from the Tools menu
- Click the Content tab
- Check the Enable JavaScript box
- Click OK
- Click Reload
Mozilla Firefox for Macintosh
- Open Mozilla Firefox
- Select Preferences from the Firefox menu
- Click the Content tab
- Check the Enable JavaScript box
- Click OK
- Click Reload

- Click My AOL
- Click Preferences
- Click WWW
- Click the Security tab
- Click Custom
- Click Settings
- Scroll down to locate Scripting
- Click Enable for Active Scripting
- Click OK, then click the Reload button
Safari for Macintosh
- Open Safari
- Select Preferences from the Safari menu
- Click Security
- Check both Enable Java and Enable JavaScript
- Close the window
- Click Reload
