Migraine headaches and your period may be connected



Approximately 21 million women in the United States suffer from migraines.1 About 60% of them have Menstrual Migraine, meaning migraines that occur around the time of their period.1-5 Yet most of us don’t realize that migraines and menstruation could be connected.4,5 In fact, surveys show that many women take several years before understanding that their migraines and their period are related.6

Take a stand — join our supportive community by sharing what you’ve learned, and by reading the experiences of others. It may help you and women like you understand your migraines better, so you can get the relief you need.

Tell your friends
Don’t keep what you’ve learned to yourself. Tell your friends by sending an e-card about the migraine-period connection. Knowing about Menstrual Migraines may help them get the diagnosis and treatment they need.
